What

Design audit of Springer Nature components
Trello Board

Why

Due to fractured teams and design rot, different variants of the same component/design exist across different applications. Additional, the frontend-toolkit is not in sync with the sketch libraries.

Done when

For each part of the "Forms" component we:

  • Capture all variants/issues

Visualise the definitive interaction states for each element

  • Text input
  • Text area
  • File upload
  • Radio buttons
  • Checkboxes
  • Form headings
  • Error summary
  • Select field

Review

  • Review visual design with Luke, Felipe & George
  • Review content design with Amy
  • Finalise design from feedback

Share with Feds

Design documentation

Implementation meeting was held on 04/03/2022

  • @sturobson & @sky-jack to work on the implementation
  • @sturobson work on colour tokens can include an update to the new focus state before we implement the new forms
