Motivation discussed on the call:

  • particular benefit of rust workspace namespacing (PyO autogenerates package name from crate name)
  • more general benefit of distinct language repos (aligns with didkit-go)

Most current users get the package from Pipy nowadays, so most wouldn't notice if the next version is updated there.
