AttributeError when opening numpy array from OS file explorer #16598

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

error prompt when trying to open a numpy file double cliking from file explorer. Spyder application was open at that time.

Hey @haritzi, thanks for reporting. This is a bug and we'll fix it in our next version (5.2.0) to be released in November.
