Problem Description

Disabling the Projects pluging crashes spyder when trying to open a new file.

What steps reproduce the problem?

  1. spyder --reset && spyder
  2. Disable the Project plugin and restart
  3. Try to create a new file (File > New File)
  4. spyder crashes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Spyder should not crash :)
