KeyError when updating contents in the Outline, which prevents opening new Editor windows #20101

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

i closed the IPython Console tab and now im not able to open it

Hey @Bhumikadg, thanks for reporting. We'll fix this error in our next version (5.4.1), to be released before the end of the year.

In the meantime, you can safely ignore it. And if it appears too much, you need to close and start Spyder again.
