Clearly, the standard braiding approach of "remove one cell" is not going to work on the grid colouring mazes of #53 and #54. It will be necessary to braid them actually removing larger numbers of walls, and preferably, wall segments that are the same as the ones used to build them in the first place.

Look into this and see what can be done.
