This public alpha release features:

  • Fixed a bug where social verifications show as unverified
  • Fixed issues with missing usernames after restoring an ID
  • Fixed email scope not returning anything after restoring an ID
  • Onboarding flow improvements

NOTE: The new bitcoin wallet is stored in the browser and secured by the same key as your identity. This is a change from prior versions where we were the bitcoins were stored in a separate wallet from your identity. To migrate the bitcoins from the old wallet, follow the instructions here.

Windows Notes

  • This release is signed by "Blockstack PBC"
  • The installer is a 'multiple-context' installer. If you run it as a user, it will install only for that user. If you run it as administrator, it will install for all users.

Names purchased in a pre-release version prior to v0.10.0 will need to be transferred to the production keychain location with a future tool.
