Stacks Core Eng Development Process Effective as of 2023 07 10

Starting the week of 7/10, will.btc from the Stacks Foundation will be managing two key Project Management processes for all work related to Stacks Core Eng (a unifying term for the Blockchain, sBTC, and Testing Working Groups).

Specifically:

  • Stacks Core Eng Project Board (stacks-network) GitHub
  • 2-week Sprints

Teams, Defined:

  • Stacks & Bitcoin Builders
  • BL2 Core Eng = Bitcoin L2 Labs
  • Hiro Core Eng = Hiro Systems
  • TM Core Eng = Trust Machines
  • SF Core Eng = Stacks Foundation
  • Stacks Core Eng = All Engs building the Stacks Blockchain

Typical Sprint: Meetings below will replace sBTC WG (Mon and Fri), Blockchain WG (Tues), and Blockchain architecture (Fri) calls.
