Setup mechanism for tracking the changelogs(feature updates, bug fixes ) for each release and maintaining it with version history. Would be good if the latest changelog is included in the readme file under a heading like [What's New @v2.1.1]

Recommend to use semantic commit messages and then jreleaser to do releases and it will automtically generate release notes and put in the release description.

Updating readme is not necessary as it does not provide extra Value over the commit log and release notes imo

sure Max, we should do this then. I'll update the Issue description in accordance with this
