Just some typo fixes in the docs, one quite funny actually.

this line is outdated: 5 years of Google Summer of Code, each year since GSOC 2009

Not a big deal, but when you merge can you edit the merge commit to use the commit notations. Makes the automatic release notes a little nicer.
