Setting video configuration (in GUI) VO to 'gpu-next' seems to cause mpv.net freezing up. I can't (drop &) playback any video. Windows throws error "mpv.net has stopped working" window, saying: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
After which the player closes and will not startup again. After removing C:\Users***\AppData\Roaming\mpv.net folder, things are back to square one.

I experience this issue with version 5.9.0.0 and up. v5.8.0.0 was working fine. I re-installed .NET Framework 4.8 but it didn't help. PC is running on 64 bit Windows 7, GPU is nVidia GTX1060.

Any help would be appreciated.
cheers

It's not reproducible on Win 10 using a NVIDIA GT 1030 card.

You can try if a recent mpv build works with vo=gpu-next.
