• welcome page is long
• FAQ is too long
• on signup (login.html) --> user sent to /welcome

• welcome banner & welcoming graphical language

• what resteeming does
• new posts: drag and drop or paste images
• how followers work, where to see feed
• markdown guide

Profile completion percent:

• 20% Set your profile fields
• 20% follow your first 3 communities
• 20% follow your first 3 friends
• 20% make your first post (introduceyourself)
• ...?

The UI needs to guide users through the easiest route to finding relevant content and subscribing/following quickly, without having to resort to a manual.
