As a regular user browsing the information about ImageHoster on devportal, I would like to know what the purpose is of having this tool, so that I understand why it's important for Steemit, Inc. to maintain it.
Regular users reading our documentation may not realize that the purpose of ImageHoster is not to store the image on the blockchain. Instead, the purpose is to cryptographically verify that a particular author uploaded a particular image that is hosted off-chain.
In addition, proxying images with this tool also offers additional security/privacy to end users.

Mention that the image is not stored on the blockchain.
Mention benefits of proxying images for security purposes (e.g.: reducing IP profiles).
