tubetest

.. is simple shell-script to test the upload/download speed of your connection. Use it to check if your ISP throttles various services.

You need a server on which you can login using ssh without passwords (see ssh-agent) for setting up a remote data sink/source.

Depends on socat, ksh, ssh, pv
