Installation instructions

This release is not signed or notarized by Apple. This is because I do not want to pay Apple the extortion fee that they require. The good news is that there is a way for you to work around it.

When you run the app you will get a warning saying:

"Bluesnooze" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

Expand the section below to read instructions on how to get past this warning.

macOS Gatekeeper instructions

The first time you try to run this Bluesnooze.app fork, you will get the following warning:

Click OK. Then open the System Settings app and navigate to Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the Bluesnooze warning.

Click Open Anyway. You may have to enter your password at this point.

Click Open.

It should now be possible to open the application without this warning going forward. If you still have issues, please open an issue.
