The April 1st deadline is feared by many. Perhaps we should already warn people through a front-page message that it's coming up. Push notifications could be a nice next step, but that also requires server infrastructure.

I think you can pull off the notifications without server infrastructure through use of Shiny jobs and local notifications features : https://shinylib.net/jobs/getting-started

Best double check with Allan I guess.
