[BUG] Can't Load Saved Tracks #71
Comments
Ah this is what we can call a bug report. 👍 Thanks will have a look. Version is ment for the game version tho. (I shall specify it a bit better). |
Well, as a systems engineer, often dealing with hardware and software revisions, I understand the dread of getting a poorly constructed bug report. 💯 Sorry for misunderstanding the version info. It was under OS so I thought they were related. I am in 1.2.0.1, and it is a Steam edition. Some further caveat to this, I added a second vehicle to the GPS roster, the small Valtra with crop row tires, for spraying crops. I added a 3rd track, this time on field 6. This is all on Estanica Lapacho. After this track was created and saved, I was able to start loading tracks on both vehicles. I would just select the name of the one I wanted from crtl-s, save menu, and then using the left/right arrows. Still no load "option" appeared, but when I used esc to get out of the menu and started moving with the combine or tractor the currently selected track would load, and then I could use alt-r to adjust the width accordingly, though I did save the tracks with a particular width in mind, so the 9m combine doesn't align right with the 21m spray track, even with a width adjustment, but hey I have temporarily solved my load issue. So in summary, two vehicles and three tracks cleared the load issue when selecting a previous saved entry. I however did not try adding a 3rd track on a single vehicle, so I don't know if that would of fixed it or if it is the combination of 2 vehicles and 3 tracks that did it? |
Please test with the latest version. |
This appears to be working quite well now. I select the saved track I want from the menu, start driving, and it pops right up. I can also then clear it out by using alt-e which I was having a little issue doing before. Excellent fix. Also, the color change on the dots is very nice, the gold is much easier to pick up in day or at night, at least from my experience today in Estancia. |
Describe the bug
Currently can load saved tracks from the steering menu after pressing ctrl-s. When you go into the menu there is just a "create," "remove," and "save" option. I have the track that I want to use selected in via the navigation errors that was saved previously. No load button appears, and nothing happens with the combine GPS is installed in. When you go outside the combine and select alt-x to see if that will start up the currently selected track from the ctrl-s menu, it reports that you need to create or load a track first.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
In step 9, selecting the previous saved track should either provide a load button or auto load the necessary track for the implement with GPS installed.

Additional context
I have tried both the dev script and manually zipping to make the folder from the unzipped repository from get hub. I did also try updating to the latest version as some changes have been committed since my first download. Same effect in all versions. The saved track is there, but it won't load.
