std=gnu99 flag has now been fixed, code now compiles on Pi3 👍 |

Thanks Glyn, it's getting there slowly, the serial output is still an issue on a RPi https://community.openenergymonitor.org/t/stm32-platformio/7015/51?u=pb66 |

The code compiles fine for me with and without the std=gnu99 flag. However I've added it in for good measure! Also added some Pio docs.
