Increased size and files with new version 6.4.x #16968

Describe the bug
In other tickets it was stated that new version will do cleanup and its expected to decrease number of files in use, which kills Indexing of tools such as Webstorm. Storybook dependency has most files compared to others in our enterprise scale application. This causes issues if you have to work in parallel on multiple React.js apps at the same time.

To Reproduce
check number of files and size of 6.4.x version compared to 6.3.x

Full node_modules before and after
full_node_modules

node_modules/storybook
storybook_node_modules

System
windows10. same ratio of difference we measured on Ubuntu
