Noteworthy changes in strace 6.1 (2022-12-12)

  • Improvements

    • Enhanced decoding of terminal ioctl commands.
    • Updated decoding of statx syscall.
    • Updated lists of ABS_*, BPF_*, BTRFS_*, COUNTER_*, ETH_P_*, IFLA_*,
      KVM_*, MADV_*, NLMSGERR_*, PERF_*, STATX_*, and TLS_* constants.
    • Updated lists of ioctl commands from Linux 6.1.

  • Bug fixes

    • Fixed injection tests on ia64.
