would like an option to start minimized or in the system tray. im currently using the x64 linux version.

@bastimeyer Are these tags still usable? If so, what's the recommended way to use them on Windows to start minimized? Currently I've just added an EXE shortcut to the startup folder.

If you mean application parameters, yes, just take a look at the wiki, everything is documented there:

what's the recommended way to use them on Windows

If you don't start the GUI from the command line shell, which I don't think you will as a Windows user, you'll have to add them to a shortcut file. It's a bit awkward though, because there is no recommanded way like on Linux for example where you have the XDG desktop entry and desktop menu specification which launcher applications/widgets will use to read from standardized .desktop "shortcut" (launcher) files. You'll have to organize yourself on Windows.
