Fixes #1040, Fixes #2209

Opening this so I can comment, since apparently GitHub won't let you do inline comments on anything except PRs.

- draw line where one already walked
- compass-mode is now navigation mode, i.e. movement direction instead of compass rotation
- in navigation mode, center map on what's before you, not on you
also, only display the compass button if not north... it's free screen real estate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNxPVj0hejg
