I hope this email finds you well. I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing some ongoing issues with your app, and it’s becoming a bit of a headache. Even though I keep everything updated—Android version 2.6.18 via PlayStore and web app version 3—I suddenly can’t see my notes on my phone anymore. Considering I’m on the Premium plan, this is pretty disappointing.
I tried logging out and reinstalling the app on all devices, but instead of fixing things, it actually got worse. Now, I can only access my notes through the web app on my Linux PC.
I really like Notesnook and want to keep using it, but these recent problems are making it tough. For context, I also use Standard Notes Premium, which isn’t as sleek but has been more reliable lately.
Thanks for looking into this. I’m hoping for a quick fix so I can get back to using Notesnook smoothly on all my devices.
Hi, this issue is occuring because you are using v3 beta on one device and v2 on another. v3 and v2 are not compatible. To fix this issue, please refer to the following guide: https://monogr.ph/660d04eb940f516b8622f925/
Abdullah, I had to move from v2 to v3 a couple of days ago because it wasn't working the syncronisation with the smartphone. I updated the web app following your instruction.
Probably the v2 still "open" is on a Chromebook that has been powerwashed weeks ago, before moving to the new version of the app.
There's no way to get to that installation anymore.
Could you help me?
