On Linux, I cannot fully open a 2.7MB file

Large PDF files are not opening entirely on Linux. Only a few pages are visible. The other pages stay empty and show the timer ( the circle that spins indefinitely) running.
This same document opens quickly with the web app on the same Chromebook.

I did a test on several pdf documents and noticed that the first 5 pages ore opening but I have a white screen starting on the page number 6.
