There is no kv-memory option when using slc loopback:datasource.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new app
  2. Try to create a new datasource via slc loopback:datasource

At step 2, you will see there is no option for kv-memory.

Workaround

Choose memory and modify datasources.json and manually enter kv-memory for the connector value.

+1, I think we need to add an entry to loopback-workspace/available-connectors.json for both kv-memory and kv-redis.
