Markdown config not working as expected for HTML inline comments

I get this from using the config.md and writing my inline guides in HTML as shown from my editor here: . The problem is the markdown isn't playing fine with the html coming in by not creating the Head and Body as expected.

Then I tried to generate a html config with:

styledown --conf > config.html

but that still generated a markdown in html producing the exact same result. I don't want to deal with the indentation struggle of jade. My first attempt at it just produced it all as a single line text.

How can my HTML work with the config?

It was a matter of how my HTML was indented. Somehow it was still being considered as HTML being parsed as Jade
