Ability to edit and add new entries. #5

Hello, |
This is especially important for chromeos. I can use ckp/tusk to fill passwords, but if I make a new account somewhere, I can't save it in my keepass database, I'm forced to memorize it or Google password storage, which I want to avoid. My workaround is to use another device to create the account, so it can then be used on my Chromebook later, but that isn't always feasible, i.e., if traveling without another device with keepass. |

I have a similar feedback as Pedrosimao. I have a situation where I can remote access my password database but have no local installation of Keepass. So Tusk is really helpful in that regard. However not being able to update existing credentials or creating new ones when for example signing up to a new web service, is a strong limitation. I believe the three missing capabilities are:

For those participating in this thread: Are you aware that https://app.keeweb.info exists? If so, how does that application not meet your needs when a local install of KeePass isn't feasible. It seems like every |
I do use KeeWeb it's been a long time. Actually, this was what led me to search for compatible extensions. But it is very time consuming / not practical needing to use two different apps, via 2 different UI. On KeeWeb I always set the auto-logoff to 5 minutes, as I don't want any application given full access to my passwords all the time. Having a solution inside the browser is much better than a 2 apps solution. |
Agreed, using two apps is cumbersome but good to know about KeeWeb , thanks for sharing this. ;) |
Thank you @subdavis for adding this to your backlog. I just installed tusk and actually assumed if would have this feature. |
At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, this is one of the features that stops me from using tusk. I think chromeIpass supports this and it's so convenient to be able to easily add/update passwords from the browser. I want to give tusk an honest shot however; the UI looks much nicer and the ongoing support is definitely a plus. I'm subscribing to this thread in the hopes it gets worked on at some point. :) |

This may or may not happen. But I'd like to keep it as an idea.
