* 構文
[22] HTTPメッセージを参照。
[23] 応答では、開始行は状態行です。
* 文脈
[21] サーバーは、原則として要求を受信したら、
それに応じて応答を送信します。
[24] HTTP/1.1 では0個以上の [CODE(HTTP)[1xx]] 応答と
[CODE(HTTP)[1xx]]
「[CODE(HTTP)[404]] 応答」といいます。
]EG]
[3] 応答にはヘッダーがあり、応答の受信者の行うべき処理やメッセージの解釈その他の情報が含まれていることがあります。
[6] 応答には次の性質・状態があります。

設定されなければ空です。
]FIG]
* 処理
[20] HTTP/2 サーバーは、要求をすべて受信する前であっても (要求全体が必要なければ)
応答を完了させることができます。その場合、応答の後に
[CODE[RST_STREAM]] フレームで誤り符号 [CODE[NO_ERROR]]

[CODE(XMLe)@en[href]]
要素は複数含められます [SRC[>>12]]。同じ値の [CODE(XMLe)@en[href]]
要素を複数含めてはなりません [SRC[>>12]]。順序は任意です [SRC[>>12]]。
[16] [CODE(XMLe)@en[propstat]] 要素を使用する場合は [CODE(XMLe)@en[href]]
要素は1つだけ含められます。 [CODE(XMLe)@en[propstat]] 要素は複数含められます。
[SRC[>>12]]
[17] [CODE(XMLe)@en[error]] 要素、
[CODE(XMLe)@en[responsedescription]] 要素は、省略可能で、
当該資源についての追加情報を提供するものです [SRC[>>12]]。
[19] [CODE(XMLe)@en[location]] 要素は、省略可能です [SRC[>>12]]。
[11] [CODE(XMLe)@en[response]] 要素は、 [CODE(XMLe)@en[multistatus]]

***6.1.1 Status Code and Reason Phrase 状態符号と理由句
The Status-Code element is a 3-digit integer result code of the
attempt to understand and satisfy the request. These codes are fully
defined in section 10. The Reason-Phrase is intended to give a short
textual description of the Status-Code. The Status-Code is intended
for use by automata and the Reason-Phrase is intended for the human
user. The client is not required to examine or display the
Reason-Phrase.
Status-Code 要素は、要求を理解・満足しようとした結果の
3桁整数の符号です。この符号は10章で完全に定義します。
Reason-Phrase は Status-Code の短い文の説明を書き入れるものです。
Status-Code は自動装置が利用し、 Reason-Phrase
は人間利用者が利用することを想定しています。顧客は
Reason-Phrase を検査したり表示したりする必要はありません。
The first digit of the Status-Code defines the class of response. The
last two digits do not have any categorization role. There are 5
values for the first digit:
Status-Code の最初の数字は応答の級を表します。下2桁は分類役を
受け持っていません。最初の数字には5つの値があります。
- 1xx: Informational - Request received, continuing process
- 2xx: Success - The action was successfully received, understood, and accepted
- 3xx: Redirection - Further action must be taken in order to complete the request
- 4xx: Client Error - The request contains bad syntax or cannot be fulfilled
- 5xx: Server Error - The server failed to fulfill an apparently valid request
:1xx:参考 — 要求は受け取られ、処理続行中
:2xx:成功 — 行動は成功して受け取られ、理解され、認められました
:3xx:あっち向け<!-- 訳語きぼんぬ --> — 要求を完了するには更なる行動が必要
:4xx:顧客誤り — 要求の構文が悪いか満ち足りていません

HTTP/1.1, and an example set of corresponding Reason-Phrase's, are
presented below. The reason phrases listed here are only
recommendations -- they MAY be replaced by local equivalents without

extension-code = 3DIGIT
Reason-Phrase = *<TEXT, excluding CR, LF>
HTTP status codes are extensible. HTTP applications are not required
to understand the meaning of all registered status codes, though such
understanding is obviously desirable. However, applications MUST
understand the class of any status code, as indicated by the first
digit, and treat any unrecognized response as being equivalent to the
x00 status code of that class, with the exception that an
unrecognized response MUST NOT be cached. For example, if an
unrecognized status code of 431 is received by the client, it can
safely assume that there was something wrong with its request and
treat the response as if it had received a 400 status code. In such
cases, user agents SHOULD present to the user the entity returned
with the response, since that entity is likely to include
human-readable information which will explain the unusual status.

: Purpose: Holds a single response describing the effect of a
method on resource and/or its properties.
: Description: A particular href MUST NOT appear more than once as the
child of a response XML element under a multistatus XML element.
This requirement is necessary in order to keep processing costs for a
response to linear time. Essentially, this prevents having to search
in order to group together all the responses by href. There are,
however, no requirements regarding ordering based on href values.
:目的: 資源及び/又はその特性についての method の影響を記述する単一の応答を保持する
:説明: 特定の [CODE(DAVe)[href]] は [CODE(DAVe)[multistatus]] XML 要素の下の
[CODE(DAVe)[response]] 要素の子として複数回現れてはなりません。
この要件は、応答を線形時間で処理する経費を維持するために必要です。
特に、これによって [CODE(DAVe)[href]] により全ての応答をまとめて集団化するための検索を行うことが防げます。
しかし、 [CODE(DAVe)[href]] 値による順序付けについての要件はありません。
