Behavior currently seen in both -prod and -uat

Expected behavior

Viewer should not show "Stanford users: log in to access all available features. Log In" bar when already web-authed when viewing stanford only restricted image content.

Actual behavior

After web-authing, if you click a different image (e.g. page 2) in the "Contents" panel, the red "Log in" bar appears again. If you happen to click the "Log In" button, you will sometimes get a modal dialog with "Unable to authenticate The authentication service cannot be reached." Otherwise functionality seems fine.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Start with a non-webauthed browser window.
  2. Go to Stanford only object, e.g. https://purl.stanford.edu/fr352bj3947
  3. Click "Log in" button and web-auth.
  4. Select page 3 or 4, etc. in the "Contents" panel.
  5. Click "Log in" again when the red bar appears.

Browser / Environment

Firefox 58 and Chrome 64 on Mac.
