LeForum is an anonymous forum (server&client) working via TCP.
- Written in C
- Uses common C UNIX libraries
- Allows to view thread history, write messages and create your own threads
- LeForum Server API allows to easily create your own client
First, download repository and enter src/ directory:
git clone https://github.com/sultanowskii/LeForum
cd LeForum/src
Then compile server/client using following commands:
make c-server
make c-client
Compiled binary/-ies will appear in the LeForum/build directory.
To make binaries available everywhere on your system, run
sudo make install
Requirements:
- docker
- docker-compose
For simple deploy run following commands:
cd LeForum/
sudo docker-compose --build -d
This will run LeForum server inside docker container, on 0.0.0.0:7431.
To select port, you should edit out port docker-compose.yml
To configure server itself (except port), you should modify flags in src/run_server.sh (see this page for server configuration guide)
If you are interested in this project and want to implement a new feature or to fix some bug - feel free to open pull request.
First of all, read "--help" manual. For further explanation, go to docs.
This project is not fully supported (and will get less and less of it as times passes). It's more about getting C experience for me.
