How to run supabase studio locally ?

I recently cloned the supabase repo, so that I can develop it to contribute to the repo.
but I am unable to run it locally,

Steps that I had taken to start

1. Cloned the repo using git clone git@github.com:Mohammed-Yasin-Mulla/supabase.git (Fork of Supabase)

2. cd into Supabase dir and execute the command npm i

3. cd into studio dir, and execute the command npm run dev

4. On my browser moved into localhost:8082
   

5. logged in through GitHub (even though it errored out after I clicked it, on refreshing the page had been already logged in)

6. on clicking the table | database | storage etc, from the sidebar, I get an error mentioning error retrieving data
   on inspecting the network tab this is what I got, the API status is 400, but the response says it is 500
   

I had also filled in NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY & NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL values in the .env file present in the supabase/studio dir
Hope I did not miss out on any steps

and also had added

NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=http://localhost:8000

in the apps/studio/.env file and all worked 🎉
