Split pane tabs

It would be very nice to have the ability to split panes in tabs at least once, so as to be able to view different parts of large documents simultaneously. This is a very useful feature in SC.app and many IDEs.

Wouldn't it be enough to allow to have two tabs open at once? Horizontal screen space is there for it.

Only if it would allow you to view the same document in both tabs simultaneously.

Editor view splitting is now implemented! You will find actions to control splitting in the View menu.

There is no shortcuts yet. I would suggest something like "C-p, " (p as in s_p_lit)
For example:
"C-p, 2" = split to right,
"C-p, 3" = to the bottom,
"C-p, 1" = close current split
"C-p, 0" = close all splits
