Please note: SuperCollider 3.12.0+ runs fine on Apple M1 chip under Rosetta, i.e. in emulated mode.
This is a general support ticket for building and running SuperCollider natively on Apple M1 chips.

For reference:
Currently, building SC on M1 works, but without the QtWebEngine (== help browser).
When configuring cmake specify -DSC_USE_QTWEBENGINE=OFF, e.g.:

cmake -GXcode -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=brew --prefix qt -DSC_USE_QTWEBENGINE=OFF ..
At this time we do not offer M1 builds for download.

EDIT: this is not needed anymore.

SC currently builds and runs on M1 natively. In that case I'll close this issue. #5577 is still unresolved though.
