What happened?

when adding a modifier and attempt to change either the density or pattern of infill settings, they do not take effect. No change is performed compared to the rest of the model.
other settings like perimeter settings (i haven't tried other) do appear to work as expected on the modifier.

both the recent RC's have this issue (c5c8cd5 & 434a68e). I rarely use this feature so not sure how long or when it may've started.

Project file & How to reproduce

  1. add modifier (in this case cylinder).
  2. add infill type & attempt to change. note it does not take effect.
