Theseus: The Descent is a first-person horror shooter made using the Unity Engine. The game has 3 chapters, each one of them exploring a different aspect of game design.
The game is avaiable to download for Windows 10 PCs, Xbox One and Xbox Series X via the Microsoft Store, made possible by the Universal Windows Platform framework.
To run this project, you need to have Visual Studio 2017 or higher. You need to have following components installed:
- Game development with Unity
- .NET desktop development
- Universal Windows Platform development (Optional: only if you want to build the app packages for the Store)
Then, you need to have Unity Hub installed (just Bing it). After installing Unity Hub, follow these steps:
- Clone this project
- Launch Unity Hub, make sure you activate a license and then click "Add" in the projects section
- In the file picker, select where this project was cloned
- Then, you will see this project appear in Unity Hub, with a warning icon stating the exact version you need to install. Click on the icon and the right Unity version will be installed
- Launch the project

The game and its code are licensed under the GNU Public License. Refer to the License file for more information. The soundtrack is not included under the license and in this repository and using it in whatever way without Drkblu's permission is copyright infringement.
