Welcome to the glasgow_xaringan_light wiki! This Wiki provides some tips of using the glasgow_xaringan_light template. Xaringan is an exceptional library created by the famous genius Yihui Xie and colleagues at Rstudio. It helps to make beautiful, customisable slides in Rmarkdown. But what makes this tool more attractive is the ease of customisation by adding a little bit of css. I am not myself a web designer or computer programmer, but once you start using xaringan, you will quickly realised that a little bit of css goes a long way! Customisation of slides is smooth and easy; most importantly, using css, a small amount of code can change the appearance of that element on all slides at once. Therefore, coding is not repetitive nor tiresome. This makes using xaringan much quicker than powerpoint or other similar what you see is what you get (WYSWYG) alternatives.
