Changes in the committee

Dirk Doesburg edited this page Sep 7, 2022 · 5 revisions

When people join or leave the Technicie, some things need to be done. This page provides a short checklist to see what should be done in such cases

People that are interested

Normally, people first join for a couple of weeks to test things out and see if they actually like to stay. During this time, they will be assigned a mentor who will help them get started and who will make sure they are actually invited every week to eat together, etc. If they decide to actually join (often after a couple of weeks, but sometimes also already after week 1, just discuss this), they will actually be added to the committee.

  • Give them temporary access to the concrexit repo
  • Work on the shoe size issue

New members joining the committee

  • Add them to the the committee on thalia.nu (or ask the commissioner of internal affairs to do so)
  • Add them to the Slack
  • Add them as members of the GitHub organization and the relevant GitHub team
  • Add them to the WieBetaaltWat
  • If applicable: add them to sentry
  • If applicable: add them to the apple developer team
  • If applicable: add them to Apple TestFlight
  • If applicable: give them server access
  • Mercator access via Simone Meeuwsen
  • Committee clothing (best done in batches)

  • Settle the WieBetaaltWat (for them at least)
  • End the committee membership on the website
  • Remove them from the Slack
  • Remove them as members of the GitHub organization
  • If applicable: remove them from sentry
  • If applicable: remove them from the apple developer team

  • Make them owner of the GitHub organization
