About this Project

A data analysis project in hotel domain using MSSM and Power Bi. The project answers three basic questions asked by the client that are:

1. "Is our hotel revenue growing by year?",
2. "Should we increase our parking lot size?" and
3. "What trends can we see in the data?"

Data cleaning was performed using MSSM and then loaded into Power Bi Desktop and reports were made accordingly.

Installation

The following steps will guide you to install and run the project at your local machine:

1. Download and install Power Bi Desktop from https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/p/power-bi-desktop/9ntxr16hnw1t#activetab=pivot:overviewtab
2. Download and install Microsoft SQL Sever Developers edition and MSSM from https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=866662
3. Make sure while downloading Microsoft SQL Sever check the MSSM option, if missed anyhow download it from https://aka.ms/ssmsfullsetup
4. Clone this github repository or download as zip.
5. Once Everything is done, run the .pbix file.
