Synergy Data Handler Shell Extension causes explorer crashes (frequently through Dropbox navigation) #3921

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Opening Explorer Window (usually through the dropbox "recently updated items" list), causes Explorer to crash
  2. Windows throws an "Explorer has stopped Working" dialogue

Expected: Window to open

Actual: Explorer Crashes

Disabling the Synergy Data Handler Shell extension resolves the issue

I can confirm this as well with the latest version of Synergy (1.4.17)

I have no idea what the Synergy Data Handler Shell extension is, however, or how to disable it. I resorted to uninstalling Synergy and regressing back to an older version.
