I can change it in the next iteration. Are you sure there won't be any "oldtimers" around? CMake won't just complain, it simply won't build if the required version is higher than running CMake.

Works on macOS 10.12.6, with one small change to platformstl.h to add a check for __MACH__ as a UNIX platform.
