Application Settings lost on upgrade

hey,

Whilst i haven't (and won't for a while) had time to do any development on this i'm still using it. I found that application settings are lost when updating (this is the first program where i've really used them rather than my own).
There is a way to check this: http://cs.rthand.com/blogs/blog_with_righthand/archive/2005/12/09/246.aspx which we should implement within the library rather than expect the user to.

Agreed - but only if it has no side effects. I have marked this as a bug (?), and now lets see who gets to it first :)

A library should not be making changes to the user.config even if it's fixing an issue! Just put it in a FAQ and let people take the action best for them.
