Getting Started

This is an example of how you may give instructions on setting up your project locally. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

  • npm
    npm install npm@latest -g

Installation

  1. Get a free trial API Key at https://www.weatherapi.com/
  2. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/t4rm/weather_app.git
  3. Install NPM packages
    npm install
  4. Enter your API in example.env and rename it to .env
    REACT_APP_KEY=your_api_key
  5. Start the React project
    npm run start

Usage

  • Get actual weather by accepting the navigator to know your location

  • Optionally enter an IP Address, ZIP Code (UK & US only), City, Country :

  • Click the see more button to get the next 7 day of the forecast :
