Custom Icon requests
We currently are transitioning to use the Carbon Design System icons for TableKit, and while the library is large there are many basic icons that do not exist.
Icons are monotone simple glyphs typically used in sizes between 16px ~ 64px and are not detailed illustrations / pictograms.
If you would like the design team to create a custom icon please add it below and we will assess if it should be designed or if there are alternatives.
Icons will be contributed to the carbon icon library learn more here.
- Add your name, a small description of the icon you want, and priority.
- There is not an existing icon that can be used in the Carbon icon set.
- It is not too specific / niche and could be used in multiple scenarios.
- Make sure you are not requesting an illustration/pictogram.
- Make sure the styling of the icon is consistent with the visual style of the Carbon icon sets.
- Follow the spacing, curvature & thickness of Carbon icons.
- Follow the guidelines.
- Do not use icons from external libraries (using as reference is ok).
- It is OK to use elements from the Carbon icon set to create new ones.
- Your concept cant rely on perspective or depth to get the point across
