differents tabs to open different projects in the same time

I think it could be usefull to have like a startup page (like a homepage) where we can open project or create new ones (I mean not a popup but really inside the main view) then we could open different project in the same time and come back on the "homepage" when we want (a fixed tab for the homepage and other tabs for the different projetcs opened). A little bit like the 3D software "inventor professional"
