Conductivity: Water quality monitoring for river, pollution control, by Arduino

This is a potential use for an alternative method of estimating the level of organic contamination as BOD5 converted by the conductivity with this Arduino system based on its high correlation between the monitored values, BOD5 and conductivity, by field study. This tool can be applicable for urban areas with insufficient and vulnerable basic infrastructure, such as wastewater treatment plants where the main contamination occurs from domestic wastewater, such as the Rocha river basin in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
