Is this still in active development? I'd be happy to help to implement RowSideColor and ColSideColor labels/legends but I wouldn't want to clash with your development |

This is quite limited at the moment. No support for multiple color bars per dimension (like this). No support for legend or even hover-over showing the underlying value.
I think these missing features (other than legend, which I'll implement when I do the legend for the main colormap) will need to wait until New API is implemented (comments welcome, BTW).
