A friendly guide to the city of New York for those that want to explore more or are new to the city. Ruby on Rails back-end, JavaScript and React front-end, incorporated a customized API and requests to GoogleMaps and Yelp APIs.

- Navigate to http://localhost:3000/nycplaces in your browser.
- View all the available locations or choose a category from the dropdown menu.
- Select the picture of the location that interests you.
- The location page will have more pictures of the selected location. Use the arrows on the border of the photo to navigate through the different pictures.
- Check out some of the events near the selected location.
- Look at the most rated restaurants and food options close by.
- If you like an event or a resturant listed, select by clicking on the picture or title and you will be redirected to its Yelp page.

- Seed Database

- Start your server

Navigate to the web address of your server http://localhost:3000 (or whatever yours is), and add the endpoint /nycplaces
