That's strage that GLEP 81 doesn't propose any process to acquire/hold the UID/GID numbers. There is no problem for the main tree, but overlays may easily choose the same IDs. We chose 3301 (tarantool's port number approved by IANA) for UID and GID, because it has a bit more sense comparing to an arbitrary number (not much, though). |
