fiasco as a Chianti reader?

Fiasco is an interface to the Chianti db. Maybe it may be easier for Carsus to depend on fiasco than chiantipy.

Maybe @wtbarnes and @wkerzendorf can have a chat 😉 to see which features are needed and whether fiasco makes it easier to maintain.

I've not had a lot of time to maintain fiasco lately but would be happy to chat about ways it could be useful to this project.

If there are things missing in fiasco that would be useful here, I'd be happy to help guide any PRs to implement those features.
