Default reminder not being set when using a third-party app #1937

My current Tasks setting for reminders are set to "When Due". If I create a task within the Tasks app, then the reminder is set correctly. However, I am attempting to create a task via Tasker and the associated plug-in and the reminder field stays blank for that particular task within Tasks.

Possibly related to #1914 or #1676 although these particular issues appear to be related to when creating a task via the Tasks.org app instead of a third-party app as I am using.
